Q. What is the 70-236 exam?
A. Microsoft’s 70-236 exam is designed to measure your ability to install, configure, manage and troubleshoot Exchange Server 2007. Successful candidates for the MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 – Configuration certification have experience installing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Exchange Server 2007; managing messaging security; and recovering messaging servers and databases.

Q. What are the prerequisites for the 70-236 exam?
A. There is no prerequisite for taking the 70-236 exam.

Q. What credit does the 70-236 exam provide?
A. The exam 70-236: TS:Exchange Server 2007, Configuring: counts as credit toward the following certification(s): Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Messaging Administrator

Q. What certificate does it provide?
A. When you pass Exam 70-236: TS:Exchange Server 2007, Configuring, you complete the requirements for the following certification(s): Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Configuration

Q. How many questions are asked in the exam?
A. This exam consists of multiple-choice questions. There are no case study type questions and the test is not adaptive. You will be required to attempt approximately 55 questions.

Q. What is the duration of the exam?
A. Candidates are required to attempt all the questions in approximately 120 minutes.

Q. Which type of the exam is it? (Adaptive/Linear)
A. The exam 70-236 is in linear format.

Q. What is the passing score?
A. You need a score of 700 to pass the exam.

Q. What is the test retake policy?
A. If you do not pass test 70-236 in the first time, you may retake the same exam one time without restriction. If you do not achieve a passing score the second time, you must wait at least seven days to retake the test a third time. A 14-day waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes. If you have passed an exam, you cannot take it again.

A. The exam 70-236 tests the ability of a candidate of installing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Exchange Server 2007; managing messaging security; and recovering messaging servers and databases.

Q. What are the prerequisites for the SCJP 1.6 exam?
A. There is no prerequisite for the SCJP 1.6 exam. However, you must be well experienced with the language before you take the exam. Even if you are new to the Java field, you can still pass the exam with self-study. This will require a lot of dedication and practice, especially with code and newly added Java 1.6 features.

Q. I am new to Java. How should I start preparing for the exam?
A. To start preparing for the exam, you need to download the development kit (JDK 1.6) from Sun’s official website . You can also download the documentation from the website. Passing the exam needs a lot of practice.
